STORYBOARDS- "LIFE'S A ZOO" 1

Life's a Zoo is a Canadian animation stop- motion situation-comedy created by Cuppa CoffeeStudios, and co-produced with Teletoon. The show is a parody of the reality TV series, BIG BROTHER with a similar plot. The seven very different contestants share a mansion, where they compete in challenges to avoid extinction. The show won Best Animated Series at the Canadian Gemini Awards in 2009

The coastline of the Gaspe Peninsula juts eastward into the Gulf of St.Lawrence, and along the rugged coast of Perce. This old warrior has weathered many storms...and will soon be swept out to sea to join the others.

The Scottish Highlands are well known for their magestic scenery, bagpipes and kilts. The only experience that rivals the beauty of the lochs and glens that meander through the highlands, would be sipping a dram of 18yr.old Glen Morangie, while listening to the soundtrack from the film Local Hero, which I did when I painted this watercolour.

GAELIC CHARM

A quaint little cottage in the foothills of the Kerry Mountains. A mixture of rugged mountains, winding valleys and dramatic seascapes, the journey begins and ends in the town Killarney. This sketch was finished in short order........about the same time as my Guinness!

Kim Chee Kim, supports his golf addiction by importing cheap high volume merchandise. If you can't find an item....then it hasn't been made!  But Kim's real passion is Golf!...and he possesses every high tech gadget on the planet. If not searching his laptop for tips, or applying pink gel to make his balls more visable...then he's smoking. Look for the nicotine cloud that follows him around as he frantically tries to find the fairway. Kim could play a round in daylight hours, if he didn't stop to take pictures on every hole. Problem is, he can't take a pic to save his life, and many are missing one comman element...FACES! Usually, his tele-photo lens will capture a private moment, like his playing partner Hank relieving himself.........or worse!
